This is my review of Asian Buffet on Broad Street in Meriden Connecticut. Pros: The food is really good in my opinion. The selection is great, with the food trays stacked with fresh hot food and desserts all the time. They have a hibachi section at no extra charge, where they'll cook the food for you the way you request it. Cons: The prices are high, I shouldn't have to pay $20 for a 9 year old to eat there. The atmosphere is ok, but they have room for improvement. The wait staff is dry, straight to business with zero smiles or small talk, which I am not used to. Overall I give this place 4 Stars... Check them out for yourself, I think you'll enjoy it.
My standards of clean didn't even let me go in. Just going to the entrance made me feel like don't do it. To me if what you see is low maintenance just when coming in, imagine the area where you don't see. So I can't say anything about the food, service or atmosphere.
There is a lot of food selection at this restaurant, and it is quite enjoyable and tasty. I went with my family for a Sunday lunch, I don’t remember the pricing for each person, but the total was around 140$ for 5 people & 4 soda fountain drinks. The mushrooms were particularly delicious and I would definitely recommend. A minor nitpick is when I asked for my drink but had to wait around 10 mins when it wasn’t that busy.
